Shooter Who Killed 13-Year-Old Girl Given 50-Year Prison Sentence

A man found guilty of killing a 13-year-old girl when he fired shots into his former girlfriend’s Milwaukee house has been sentenced to 50 years in prison.  Twenty-seven-year-old Isaac Barnes stopped his homicide trial last year in order to change his plea to guilty.  Sandra Parks was sitting in her living room when the stray bullet hit her.  Her mother, Bernice Parks, was in the Milwaukee County courtroom Friday to make sure her daughter received justice.
