The shots weren’t dropping as Team U-S-A lost for the first time in 13 years, 98-94, over the weekend in Melbourne, Australia. Milwaukee Bucks players Brook Lopez and Khris Middleton did nothing to solidify their positions on the team for the Olympics next year. Middleton started but had a hard time hitting his shots and staying out of foul trouble, winding up with just four points. Lopez was also off the mark as the Americans tasted defeat for the first time in 78 games.
