Coan Listed As Starting QB For Season Opener Against USF

Jack Coan will be taking the snaps as the starting quarterback when Wisconsin plays at South Florida Friday.  The Badgers released their depth chart Sunday for the first game of the 2019 season.  Coan was competing with redshirt freshman Chase Wolf and true freshman Graham Mertz for the job.  The addition of wide receiver Quintez Cephus and the return of Doak Walker Award winner Jonathan Taylor means Coan will have a lot of weapons to work with against the Bulls
