
It’s day 2 of the 160th Manitowoc County Fair at the Expogrounds. Today’s agenda includes: a Modified Truck & Tractor Pull in front of the Grandstand live music featuring Jerry Schneider in the Polka Pavilion MonRo in the Rock area and, the Glam Band in the Variety Pavilion. The Exhibition and Merchants buildings open at 9 and 10am, respectively and there’s a Cream-Puff Eating Contest involving WOMT’s own Lee Douglas at around 2:00 this afternoon. State Assemblyman Paul Tittl is the defending champion. He’s not sure how he’ll do as he had back surgery last month, but says he will do his best.
General admission gates opened at 8:00 this morning and a reminder that a $10.00 general admission includes unlimited carnival rides, parking, and live music.
