In a lost weekend for Milwaukee pitchers, the Brewers scored 23 runs in two games, but only managed a split of those games. Washington hitters pounded eight home runs Sunday in a 16-8 win. In Sunday’s loss, Mike Moustakas drove in five runs with a pair of homers and Ben Gamel and Orlando Arcia also had home runs. The teams also played a 14 inning matchup Saturday night, with the Brewers finally prevailing 15-14 thanks to an Eric Thames three run bomb. Milwaukee will again be on the road tonight for a huge three game series in St. Louis. Zach Davies will be starting on the mound for the crew, with a first pitch scheduled for 6:45 PM, and pregame coverage on 1240 AM WOMT starting at 6:10 PM.
