The Wisconsin Commercial Ports Association is set to hold its 2019 Annual Meeting and Conference in Manitowoc on August 15 and 16. The WCPA 2019 Meeting and Conference, hosted by the Port of Manitowoc, will include presentations from a distinguished list of guest speakers and networking events. Some of the scheduled speakers include Lisa Stern from the Wisconsin DOT, Roy Eckberg of the National Weather Service, and Burger Boat Company’s own Douglas Borys. The event will be held at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum, starting at noon on August 15th, and 8:00 AM the next morning. On the first day, there will be a tour of the SS Badger Carferry, and the state’s only wind tower manufacturer, Broadwind Towers.
