It’s not the powerful swing which has launched 39 home runs which is causing the back pain for Christian Yelich. Milwaukee manager Craig Counsell says the problem starts when the right fielder is running. Counting Thursday’s off-day, Yelich hasn’t played for three days in a row after missing some time earlier this season. The Brewers say he is day-to-day and they hope to see him taking the field tonight (Friday) against the Texas Rangers at Miller Park. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 in Milwaukee, with pregame coverage on 1240 AM WOMT beginning at 6:30 PM.
