The Mishicot Indians Girls Softball team has been selected as a Team Sportsmanship Award winner for the 2019 Spring State Team Tournaments. The Indians, led by Coach Dawn Krueger, were recognized for their positive and respectful enthusiasm in their two games at the State Softball Tournament at Goodman Diamond in Madison. The Indians defeated Pacelli of Steven’s Point 5-1 in the Division 4 Semi Finals, before losing to the defending State Champion Horicon 13-4 in the Championship game. This marks the first time in school history Mishicot has been chosen as the recipient of this award in any sport.
