Republican lawmakers got one of their transportation bills signed by the governor Tuesday. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will have to maintain an inventory of at least five “design-build” highway projects. Governor Tony Evers used his veto pen on two other Republican bills, including one calling for discretionary raises for agency employees. Evers says the bill duplicated a process already in place through the Department of Administration.
