Brown County Recognizes Child Support Awareness Month

Late last month, Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach issued a proclamation recognizing August 2019 as Child Support Awareness Month in Brown County. Streckenbach said in the proclamation, “Brown County’s Child Support Agency is an effective investment in our future as the program increases self-sufficiency, reduces child poverty, and has a positive effect on kids’ well-being. Most importantly our staff is made up of dedicated men and women who are the unsung heroes of economic security and social service programs which impact the lives of hundreds of children and their families in our community.” The Brown County Child Support Agency is recognized statewide as being a leader in unique and proactive approaches of creating economic stability of noncustodial parents.
