He was a three-year starter for the Wisconsin Badgers, but quarterback Alex Hornibook is only competing to start for Florida State. James Blackman started for the Seminoles last season and he is taking the first-team reps this summer in Tallahassee. Florida State opens the season against Boise State August 31st in Jacksonville. Blackman is expected to start that game, but F-S-U coaches say Hornibrook still has a chance to win the job.
