Wisconsin’s attorney general is on record asking for a red flag law to keep guns out of the hands of potentially dangerous people. In the wake of recent shootings in Texas and Ohio Attorney General Josh Kaul said Wisconsin needs a way for police, judges or family members to take guns away from someone who may be a threat. More than a dozen other states have red flag gun laws on the books.
