Finally A Hint — UW Coach Chryst Says Coan Has Slight Edge For QB

The coaches say all four quarterbacks are looking good right now as the Wisconsin Badgers get ready for the football season just four weeks away.  For the first time, head coach Paul Chryst has hinted at his starter.  Junior Jack Coan has what Chryst calls “a slight edge.”  Coan is the only Q-B on the roster who started a game last season and he says he has worked hard to gain 10-to-15 pounds.  Offensive coordinator Joe Rudolph says he has faith in all four of his quarterbacks — Coan, Danny Vanden Boom, Chase Wolf and Graham Mertz.
