The City of Manitowoc Crime Prevention Committee will be kicking off the month of August with a meeting at the Manitowoc Police Department. After a review of the minutes from the previous meeting, the public will be allowed to voice their input. New members will be introduced, and an update will be given regarding their high school members. The CPC will also be going over some of the latest identity theft and mail scams that have hit the city, and will again discuss bicycle awareness. The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM, and the next scheduled CPC meeting will take place on September 5th.
