Caledonia Man Saves Bed-Ridden Neighbor From House Fire

A Caledonia man says he was on the phone with a 9-1-1 dispatcher while he ran into a burning home last weekend.  Nicholas Patrenets is being given credit for saving the life of his bed-ridden neighbor.  The woman’s caregiver didn’t know the home was on fire.  She and Patrenets managed to get the woman out of her bed and outside, so she could be taken to a hospital.  Patranets inhaled some smoke, but no one was seriously injured.
