Governor Tony Evers says he thinks parents are going to be buying school supplies whether there is a Tax-Free Holiday or not. Wisconsin won’t offer the potential savings next month. Last year, shoppers were able to buy some items of clothing, technology and other school supplies without paying the five-percent sales tax. Evers says that was a one-time deal under former Republican Governor Scott Walker. Retailers plan to offer other incentives.
