A 26-year-old Two Rivers woman is facing several felony charges after local law enforcement investigated suspected child neglect. Court records show that Christina M. Macias-Martinez is charged with felony human trafficking, felony physical abuse of a child and felony solicitation of prostitutes. A criminal complaint states that Macias-Martinez would arrange sexual encounters for men she communicated with on social media. Witness interviews in the complaint also stated that she would talk about having sex for money, hit her two children and leave them so she could participate in prostitution, drug use and daily drinking. Macias-Martinez faces up to 37 years in prison if convicted on all charges and she’s due back in court for a preliminary hearing August 9th.
