Green Bay defensive coordinator Mike Pettine says Tramon Williams has been lining up inside during 11-on-11 work in practices because of his experience, football I-Q, and instincts. The 36-year-old veteran figures to spend most of his defensive snaps as the slot cornerback. While the Packers were taking a day off from practice Monday, Pettine was telling reporters Williams understands how to play with leverage and how to disguise his coverage. He says the five-11, 190-pounder is tough and will likely do some blitzing.
