In local baseball, the Manitowoc Bandits finished 2nd at the Shawano Tournament falling to the Shawano Lobos on Saturday night, 10-7 in 6-innings. It was a game with a pair of ejections that led to an early conclusion to the championship game.
The Bandits return to action tonight for a Northeastern Wisconsin League contest with the Green Bay Storm. First pitch is set for 7:30 at Southwest High School.
Also, the Bandits, as 2019 Shoreland League regular season champs, have the #1 seed entering the Playoffs starting next Wednesday, August 7th. Matchups have yet to be determined.
