SI Thinks Mertz Will be The Man for the Badgers

Freshman quarterback Graham Mertz is definitely the future of the Wisconsin Badgers football program, but he may also be the present.  Sports Illustrated is reporting the highly-rated teenager may wind up being Badger Coach Paul Chryst’s pick for the job.  Wisconsin media seems to think Jack Coan — who played in five games last year — will start initially, but Mertz will be the man by the end of the season.
