There were some flooding concerns in Green Bay last night along the Fox and East Rivers. Green Bay was under a flood warning, due to high water levels & a north wind blowing from the Bay into the Fox River, putting it about a foot over flood stage. A police department spokesman said that river was over its’ banks near the Neville Museum on the west side. Meanwhile, deputies from the Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded about 7:00 last evening to a residential neighborhood in the Village of Suamico for the report of rising waters & flooding. Deputies, along with the Suamico Fire Department, assisted residents in the area of Longtail Beach Lane in evacuating their houses. Two families were completely displaced from their homes and the power was off as well. The waters had begun to recede by 9pm.
