Some shocking news out of Green Bay this morning, as the Packers have released defensive lineman Mike Daniels. The All Pro lineman has spent the entirety of his seven year career in Green Bay, compiling 29 sacks in that time. When asked about this decision, coach Matt LaFleur told the NFL Network “I wish him well, but we feel really, really good about the group that we have.” The NFL Network is reporting that Daniels was due $8.1 million in 2019 in base salary and roster bonuses.
