The Green Bay Packers have signed defensive lineman Dean Lowry to a contract extension. The three-year agreement is said to be worth slightly more than 20-million dollars and it includes a signing bonus worth six-million. Lowry was scheduled to make a little over two-million dollars this season and then become a free agent. He became a fulltime starter last year when injuries knocked out Muhammad Wilkerson, Mike Daniels and Kenny Clark.
Also, the Pack’s joint training camp practices with the Houston Texans are set for August 5th and 6th at 10:15 A-M both days. The teams will face off in the first preseason game August 8th at Lambeau Field. This will be the first time the Packers host joint practices since the Buffalo Bills came to Wisconsin in 2005.
