While a majority of the Lakeshore area has had their power restored following the massive storm that ravaged the Eastern part of the state over the weekend, Seven Lakes is not so lucky. According to Dean Halverson, the CEO of Leede Research, the subdivision around that area and a chunk of County Road S has been without power since Saturday. A big concern with any business that serves food, is keeping the coolers and freezers running so they don’t have to throw away thousands of dollars’ worth of food. Seven Lakes has been using generators to keep the food at the proper temperature. One resident told Halverson that they could be without power until as late as Tuesday.
