Ever wonder what beauty products were like in the Victorian era? The Manitowoc County Historical Society is making Victorian era pampering a topic of their next Create-Connect workshop on Tuesday, July 30. As part of the program, guests will learn about the wide range of beauty products that were available to Wisconsin residents during the Victorian Era. Try on a hoop skirt, mix a cologne or perfume, and pack a beauty bag to take home. The event takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and advanced registration is required. The cost is $25.00 for MCHS Members and $30 for non-members.
The Manitowoc County Historical Society is located at 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc. For more details and a complete schedule of programs, visit ManitowocCountyHistory.org/spark or call (920) 684-4445.
