Chase Anderson will start the first game for the Milwaukee Brewers after the All-Star break. Anderson will be on the mound tonight (Friday) at Miller Park when San Francisco comes to play. The rest of the five-man rotation — in order — will be Zach Davies, Jhoulys Chacin, Adrian Houser and Brandon Woodruff. The Brewers want to give the team’s ace in the first half of the season, Woodruff, a little extra rest before he returns to action. Milwaukee trails Chicago by half a game in the NL Central entering play today, and the Cubs host the Pirates this afternoon at Wrigley Field. Tonight’s coverage of the Brewers and Giants on 1240 AM WOMT gets underway at 6:35.
