2 Women Accused Of Killing 13-Year-Old Girl Make Initial Court Appearances

The mother and daughter accused of killing a 13-year-old girl made their initial appearances Tuesday in Iowa County Circuit Court.  Fifty-year-old Laurie D. Barry and 27-year-old Alexis E. Barry, both of Mineral Point, are charged with first-degree reckless homicide.  They are accused of suffocating teenager Selah Kaden while she lived with them.  The girl died before emergency responders could get her to doctors at Upland Hills Health May 31st, 2018.
