An 84 year old woman was robbed in the parking lot of a Piggly Wiggly late last week, and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest. Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the store in Ledgeview at around 11:00 AM last Friday to investigate the robbery. They were told that the suspect pushed the victim to the ground and stole her purse. The victim received injuries during this struggle and sought medical attention after the event.
