Former Wisconsin Badgers star Rose LaVelle scored one of her team’s goals in a 2-0 win over Netherlands Sunday night, giving the U-S team its fourth Women’s World Cup. Megan Rapinoe’s penalty shot put the Americans on the scoreboard in the 61st minute and LaVelle scored the insurance goal eight minutes later. Rapinoe, Alex Morgan and England’s Ellen White were the top scorers in the tournament with six goals each.
