After thirty-six years, the core gallery on the second floor of the Neville Public Museum is closed to the public for a much-needed upgrade. Staff at the museum has spent the last couple of months carefully transporting over 2,000 artifacts into temporary storage in preparation for the project. The museum is inviting the public to take a peek behind the scenes as they prepare one last artifact for storage before the series of upgrades begin. Several Neville Public Museum Executives will speak at the event, as well as Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach. The museum staff also wants to ensure regular visitors that most of the exhibits will be coming back, including Stompy the Mastodon.
