6 People, 2 Dogs Escape Beloit House Fire

Six people and two dogs managed to avoid suffering any injuries when a home in Beloit caught on fire Tuesday afternoon.  Beloit firefighters say the entire north side of the house was burning when they arrived.  Eight more fire departments provided mutual aid.  Firefighters say they were able to rescue two dogs which had been trapped in the basement.  The flames also did damage to a nearby home.
