The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation says a 70-million dollar expansion project at Sub-Zero Group appliances in Fitchburg will create 100 new jobs. The company makes refrigeration, cooking and dishwashing appliances. An economic study suggests the 350-thousand-square-foot addition could indirectly generate another 122 jobs for the region. That would mean two-point-eight-million dollars in new state income tax revenue over five years. Sub-Zero will receive one-million in state income tax credits over the next four years.
