Several Lakeshore cities are being touted as great places to live, with several even ranking higher than Green Bay. A study released by the Chamber of Commerce placed Sheboygan at No. 10 out of all the Wisconsin cities with populations above 25,000. The employment opportunities were a major deciding factor in their number ten designation, as well as the housing market, the high quality of life, educational opportunities, and the overall health of the community. Brookfield took the top spot, while Manitowoc was named the 17th best place to live. Green Bay meanwhile ranked number 21.
