Mosinee Man Handed Prison Sentence For His Role In Fatal 2015 Crash

A Marathon County Circuit judge has sentenced a Mosinee man to 11 months in prison for causing a fatal accident nearly four years ago.  Twenty-one-year-old Brandon Kohel tried to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone.  His vehicle and the oncoming vehicle swerved and slammed into one another on the shoulder of a county highway.  The driver of the other vehicle, 54-year-old Michael Sybeldon, was killed.  Kohel entered a no contest plea in January.
