Former Milwaukee Brewers ace Jimmy Nelson will try to work out his issues in the bullpen. Manager Craig Counsell says Nelson should be available when his team hosts Seattle tonight (Tuesday). Nelson’s return from more than a year out of action hasn’t been successful, with a nine-point-75 E-R-A and two losses. He says he’s dealt with struggles before and will work his way out of it. Nelson says he will come out of the other side and be consistently effective — as he was before his injury 21 months ago.
Zach Davies will be taking the mound tonight, and will be facing off against lefty Marco Gonzalez. First Pitch is scheduled for 7:10 PM, with pregame coverage beginning at 6:35 PM on 1240 AM WOMT.
