One Vehicle Rollover Results in Minor Injury

A 17-year old from Mishicot escaped serious injury over the weekend when she lost control of the car she was operating and rolled over in a ditch.  The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s report shows the teen was northbound on County Highway Q, south of Goodwin Road, about 1:30 Saturday afternoon when the crash occurred as the motorist approached a curve.  The vehicle went onto the gravel shoulder, causing her to lose control and enter the ditch, where the unit collided with an embankment and rolled one and a half times before coming to rest on its’ roof.  She sustained abrasions to both arms and a bump to her head…and was transported by EMS to Holy Family Memorial.  The lone occupant was wearing a shoulder and lap belt and was not ejected.  She was issued a citation for driving too fast for conditions.
