Keeping Brook Lopez A Little Trickier For Milwaukee Bucks Than Others

It’s not guaranteed, but the Milwaukee Bucks hold so-called Bird rights on Khris Middleton, Malcolm Brogdon and Nikola Mirotic.  That means they can hypothetically top any offer another N-B-A team makes.  It’s different for Brook Lopez and the hot-shooting center figures to claim a big payday in free agency.  Lopez does say he wants to return to the Bucks and the dumping of Tony Snell’s salary opens the door — just a little.  Despite that, Lopez could get an offer Milwaukee simply can’t match.
