UPDATE: Road closure and detour are complete as of 4:30 pm 6/21/19
We have received an announcement from Manitowoc Public Utilities about a street closure taking effect today. Pete Dollhopf informed Seehafer News that Franklin Street from south 13th Street to south 16th Street is closed for the repair of a broken water main. West bound traffic on Franklin is being detoured to the north to Clark Street at south 13th Street and back to Franklin St. on South 16th, while east bound traffic is being detoured to the south to Washington Street at South 16th and back to Franklin at South 13th. South 15th Street is also closed to through traffic from Washington to Clark. The closure is expected to be lifted by end of the work day.
