Two former Wisconsin high school basketball stars have been picked in the first round of the 2019 N-B-A Draft. Tyler Herro starred at Whitnall and played one season of college ball for the Kentucky Wildcats. He was taken by Miami with the 13th pick. Jordan Poole was a high school standout for Milwaukee King. Poole was chosen by Golden State with the 28th pick, also in the first round. The Milwaukee Bucks took U-S-C guard Kevin Porter Junior with the 30th pick, but he was immediately traded to Detroit, and then Cleveland made a follow-up trade with the Pistons to acquire him.
