Green Street from South 16th St. to South 18th St. will be closed to through traffic starting on Monday, June 17th.
This roadway is being closed for asphalt resurfacing. The project will include replacement of the storm sewer, replacing defective sections of the concrete curb and gutter, pulverizing and reshaping of the existing asphalt surface and then the placement of a new asphalt pavement surface.
The project also includes replacement of the storm sewer on South 16th St. from Green St. to approx. 150 feet south. This portion of S. 16th St. will also be closed during the storm sewer work and pavement replacement work.
It is anticipated that all work will be completed and the road reopened to through traffic around July 26th.
