Maritime Drive between North 8th and North 9th St. is scheduled to be closed to traffic starting around 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 17th.
The road closure is needed to accommodate the replacement of deteriorated concrete pavement panels.
Forward Contractors will be the prime contractor for the project.
During the construction, westbound traffic on Maritime Drive will be detoured onto N. 8th St., then proceed northbound on N. 8th St. to Chicago St. and then westbound on Chicago St. to N. 10th St. and then southbound on N. 10th St. back to Maritime Drive.
The intersection of N. 9th and Maritime Dr. will remain open to traffic during the project.
It is anticipated that the project will be completed and the roadway reopened to traffic on or before July 3rd.
