A western Wisconsin father is guilty of second-degree reckless homicide in the deadly shooting of his son in New Richmond. Forty-three-year-old Kayle Fleischauer was convicted by a St. Croix County jury today (Thursday) in the April 2018 death of 18-year-old Chase Fleischauer. He could face a maximum 25-year sentence which is expected later this summer. Fleischauer will remain jailed without bond. His defense attorneys claimed that Chase accidentally shot himself to death.
