The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development has announced that the wages for workers in Sheboygan were the 2nd fastest growing in the Dairy State. The report noted that workers in the City of Sheboygan saw their average wage increase by a whopping 16.7% over the past year. The number does include the increase in employment that the city has seen, as well as the wages of individual workers. The Countywide numbers also grew. In fact, they grew more than any other County in the entire state. A direct effect of these increases is the additional buying power of the area, which makes it easier for businesses to thrive.
