Former Badgers Star Rose Lavelle Scores Twice In Rout Of Thailand

A former soccer star at the University of Wisconsin was one of the U-S players finding the range in Tuesday’s 13-0 rout of Thailand.  Rose Lavelle scored twice in the one-sided victory.  Teammate Alex Morgan tied a record with five goals.  After the rout, the U-S national team players have been criticized for celebrating all of the scores so much.  The Americans are going for their second straight world title.
