Wisconsin’s Focus on Energy Design Assistance Program has been designated the most cost-effective program of its kind in the U-S. The Berkeley National Laboratory analyzed energy efficient program in 41 states. It estimated the cost of saved electricity for Focus on Energy at one cent-per-kilowatt-hour saved. Those programs nationwide accounted for more than 28-million tons of carbon dioxide not sent into the air people breath.
