Fourth on the Shore to Feature a Parade

Registration is now being accepted for a pair of new events that will be taking place at the annual Fourth on the Shore celebration in Manitowoc. The 1 mile parade will begin at 10 a.m., and is expected to last approximately 1 hour. The deadline to register for the parade is June 21st. The other new event is the Kayak Rendezvous Rally Floatilla, which requires pre-registration by June 28^th. Participants will paddle from Manitou Park, pausing alongside the USS Cobia at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum for the noon whistle blow by Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels, and finish at the Manitowoc Marina.
