The Brewers bats were on display last night at Minute Maid Park, but so were the Astros’ as the crew lost 10-8. Freddie Peralta continued his rollercoaster of a season, only lasting 4 innings, while giving up 8 hits, and 6 runs. Offensively, the reigning National League MVP, Christian Yelich continues to prove that his distinction was not a fluke, and went 3-5 at the plate, smashed his league leading 25th homerun, and came up a triple short of the cycle. The Brewers will attempt to force a split of the series tonight with a first pitch scheduled for 7:10 PM. There will be an interesting pitching matchup tonight, as the young Brandon Woodruff will face off against league veteran Justin Verlander. Pregame coverage will be aired on 1240 AM WOMT beginning at 6:35 PM.
