A Manitowoc woman is facing charges after she allegedly attacked her boyfriend with a knife. A neighbor of the couple contacted police at around 2:15 Monday afternoon, claiming there was a lot of yelling, and what sounded like items being thrown from the apartment below her in the 1200 block of Flambeau Street. During an interview with the responding officers, the man told officers that the pair had gotten into an argument, and his 27-year-old girlfriend began throwing items at him, eventually grabbing a knife and swinging it at him. Officers noticed an injury on the man, who said it was probably from the knife. The woman was eventually forced out of the apartment by the man, and she broke a window attempting to get back in. The woman was placed under arrest and is facing charges of Disorderly Conduct, and Reckless Injury, both with Domestic Violence Orders.
