Milwaukee police say the domestic violence suspect shot by an officer Saturday evening is expected to survive a shoulder wound. The 34-year-old man took off running when officers arrived. One officer chased the man and shot him when he turned toward the officer with a gun in his hand. Multiple shots were fired. The man’s name hasn’t been released, but police say he was on parole for first-degree reckless homicide and was wanted for violating that parole.
