Sheboygan Mayor Mike Vandersteen has announced that there are several streets in the city that will be getting a facelift. Pershing, North 8th, North 15th, South Taylor Drive, and North Avenue will all have parts fixed, while the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge will receive new decking, and parts will be restructured. Illinois Avenue and Maryland Avenue around the old tannery, will also be have a little work done. It was not stated when each of the projects would begin, but we do know that the City Council put some bonds on sale in order to pay for the projects.
